Dan Kiely, 54 and wife Linda, 69 celebrate 30 years of marriage this year, 23 of them as business partners. They met as advertising sales executives on the magazine Cork Scene before 1995 buying Pageboy Communications, a Cork-based paging business. That became, Voxpro, which grew into a global company providing customer service and technical support to companies such as Airbnb and Google.
The couple sold 55% of the business for €39 million in 2017 to the Canadian company Telus International. Cork-born Dan, a University of Standford business graduate, has joined the Telus senior team and retains 23% of Voxpro. Linda, a non-executive director holds 21%. They can sell their remaining stake for €32 million if performance targets are met by 2021.
As a business ‘power couple’, Dan and Linda will share their story so far with all in attendance.
